A Year in Pixels – The 2026 Calendar
A new year, a fresh calendar, and a quiet little tradition that’s starting to stick.
This is the second year I’ve created a Pixel Paths desktop calendar for family and friends and I have to say, it’s become one of my favourite creative rituals. There’s something grounding about choosing twelve images that capture the rhythm of the seasons, the spirit of the landscape, and the little stories that unfold when you’re trailing behind with a camera and a curious Cavachon.
January kicks off with a splash at St Nectan’s Waterfall in Tintagel, mossy and magical, paired with a close by stream that whispers through the woods. It’s a reminder to start slow, breathe deep, and let nature set the pace. And from there, each month brings its own mood from golden blooms, coastal glows, retro sunsets and city landscapes all from my adventures over the last year.
Creating this calendar isn’t just about photography, it’s about presence, memory, and sharing something tactile in a digital world.
If you’ve got one sitting on your desk, I hope it brings a smile each time you flip the page. And if not, well, maybe next year I’ll make a few more…
You can find the 2025 calendar and the 2026 one as I add the months throughout the year here.
Here’s to a year of colour, connection, and chasing the light.
